I saw Aaron kicking 55 yarders in practice in the 8th grade, effortlessly. I posted it on another message board and here too I think. I got ridiculed. I know we hear stories about kids all the time that sound untrue.I was doing stats for the one of the local radio stations last year.Aaron was 100% on touchbacks for the season. Our team had a safety then a penalty. He kicked off of the tee from the 20.I told the guys in the booth."Well, there goes his 100%" The ball landed on the 6 yl and bounced in for a touchback....true story.That has to be some kind of state record.

We really should hire him. He was the last good, consistent kicker we've had.

Fans don't realize that Wilhoit was injured his freshmen season and most of the problems in his injuries not healing were due to Shane Beamer not listening to Wilhoit. Beamer thought that Wilhoit was acting hurt, but actually had some injury issues that Beamer forced Wilhoit to kick through and hurt his recovery and kicking ability. Beamer is not all that some people thought that he was or is now.
