This may be true but there's a reason why they have so many weight divisions in wrestling and Dan and Tiny have Bruno by 70 and 50 pounds, respectively.
That's a whole lot of size to make up in a sport that is driven by the ability to generate leverage.
Would Bruno accept a blue shirt opportunity?
He is 21-0 and wrestled everyone that is ranked. Only one match has made 18 pins 2 for fits and one decision that he won 8-0. I thin only 3 matches has made it out of the first period. Once football money came in the wrestling recutting stopped. I think Virginia and Missouri were looking at him doing both. Has a total different style than other HW. High pase with Hugh throws. Great to watch.

Heavyweight wrestling in Tennessee, and really most of the South is terrible. If you aren't a fat POS and have any amount of athletic ability you will pin more than half of the people that you wrestle against.
Played football at 315+. Took him 4 weeks to make 287. You get 2 lbs after Christmas. Making weight is hard for him. He does not have much bad weight now. Pickture from banquet tonight. You may know the guy in the middle. My bad posted twice

I'm amazed at everyone on here who would seemingly hand out blue shirts to everyone left on our board now... No room in the 2014 class? Oh, no problem! Let's gray shirt or blue shirt them all! If we blue shirted half the guys people mention left in this class we would have about 10 spots left in the 2015 class fill with actual 2015 kids.
Remember when I wrote you a while back, jokingly talking about Bruno snapping some ankles underneath the pile. I just really would love to see him play for the Vols. He would definitely be once of my favorites! He is from my Alma Mater, Clarksville High School and have read quite a bit on him. I never understood why Tennessee didn't go after him earlier. He was dominating camps. I knew he would be able to use his leverage, being such a Judo and Wrestling machine. He will do great things wherever he goes, but he would definitely be a fan favorite running through the Power T. Playing for the home state school and having a part in building something special here, and I think winning a National Title. I'm glad he has great mentors around him and I do wish him the best wherever he ends up. Great kid and glad he is a Clarksville High Legacy. Go Wildcats - Go Vols - VFL
Funny that you mention him. I had never heard of him before 2 weeks ago but I know there has been discussion. I can't see how there is room but I know he has been discussed recently by the coaches. Apparently, he's only played a couple of years of football and has very poor technique (not been coached up is what I heard) but all of the physical tools and mentality. TIFWIW
And I'm amazed at how little reading comprehension there is here sometimes. Did I say I wanted him to be a blue shirt? I'm not seeing it. I did however ask Judo coach if he would accept a blue shirt. If you want to go on a rant about blue shirts and gray shirts, don't bring me into it.
