'14 TN DT/OL Bruno Reagan

As the final shuffle of the deck gets closer to NSD, I could see this happening with the usual academics and last minute flip issues.

I think center is the most under-discussed, yet important piece on the O-line. Besides making the line calls, if your center can handle a DT without help as well as get out with good mobility for the screen game, your offense becomes much more effective and versatile. Don't know that is what Butch/staff are thinking he can do, but if it is I love it.

UT has never signed a top flight heavy weight wrestler who didn't pan out. There's several current commits I'd replace with Reagan if I were in charge of recruiting. After A. Jackson (who's probably going elsewhere), Reagan is the top uncommited recruit on my personal UT board.

Alex Mack is one of the best college centers I've ever seen. He was an all-American wrestler to. A lot of Oline is being flexible, being able to get low, and use leverage. Wrestling helps with all of that.

Coach,

Any insight to what changed from the fall to now in regards to Butch putting the press on Bruno?

Not Coach, but I think it's the lure of having a lineman that is versatile and can be effective on both sides of the ball, like Jashon.

It has always been know they they liked him. But he is probley an inch or so taller from the time he was at camp and his body has developed. Rember he should be a Junior and has played football only 3 seasons. He is a 1 on 1 champion and world class athlete who played football this year at 315-320. They would contact him ever so often and them everthing picked up last week. CBJ seems to have eyes all over the state. Where it goes from here who knows.

They have foght before. But let's be truthfully. Bruno would beat big Dan and Tiny back to back in wrestling.

This may be true but there's a reason why they have so many weight divisions in wrestling and Dan and Tiny have Bruno by 70 and 50 pounds, respectively.

That's a whole lot of size to make up in a sport that is driven by the ability to generate leverage.

I thought it said in here somewhere bruno was up over 300 pounds.
