'14 TN DT/OL Bruno Reagan

CBJ called last week wanting him to take an official visit.

Would not hurt my feelings. I think the kid is the kind of mauler we need on the OL. Not sure how there would be room to take him, but if the staff wants him to visit, I hope he does. If I were Bruno I would be very direct with CBJ. "if I have a committable offer from Tennessee, I would OV". "If I don't, I am content with my choice".

Cool, how's he been doing? Still wrestling? Should make a great center if he plays that position. I like him at DT

Wrestling just broke the schools career pin record with around 30 matches to go. Has won 87 consecutive matches. So things are going well.

He seemed to be pretty happy with his decision to choose usf. Not surprised at all if he holds to that and does not visit. A lot of kids just won't go for the slow play tactics and I can't say I blame them. I think Bruno will prove to be a good college football player.

Awesome, 300 lb'ers that can wrestle at a high level are hard to find

I know he is very happy with USF and had shut recutting down but CBJ seams to want him bad. Not much time left so we will know soon.

Is he still happy with his situation with USF now that Walt Wells the OC/OL coach has been let go?

That Facebook link has a post saying he broke a record for quickest pin: 5 seconds.

All I can say is WOW. Doesn't matter how bad the competition is, that would seem apart impossible...

btw, I'm impressed by all his records, but for those that don't know much about wrestling, there isn't a lot of quality competition in the heavy weight classification. Hopefully he has some good challengers in those out of state tourneys.

Good heavy weight wrestlers usually make great OLs.

Especially center, a position of leverage. Wrestling helps with OL footwork, leverage, and all around stamina.

Bingo. Example: All Pro Scott Wells. Came in as an undersized freshmen at UT and dominated.

Don't know about being enough room in this class, but if there was room that is why I would recruit Bruno. I would commit him immediately to being the center of the future.

We need a center very badly if Coleman Thomas is going to play right tackle. These guys may not be highly rated, but if you've seen Jason Kelce of the eagles, they will be very good under Mahoney. I do believe he's a top 10 OL coach
