'14 TN DT/OL Bruno Reagan

CBJ pulled him to talk in his office. He went undefeated in 1 on 1s against anyone Mahoney put him against. His dad will upload the videos to YouTube soon.

I hope the coaches really like/want him. Seems like a beast. If he picks Vandy because they show him more love I get it but pulling for him to play for us.

The pedigree this kid has with wrestling/martial arts with size and a nasty streak is something you need on a team.

Sounds like he absolutely smashed it today.

On twitter he said he was not offered as coaches are not allowed to offer at the camp(did not know that). He said he would talk to the coaches again soon.

Hubbs said he didn't expect offers at camp. He didn't mention that coaches arent allowed to offer. Seems like Hubb would know that. Hubbs made it sound like something different...

Maybe they can. I was just mentioning what the kid said to someone on twitter when asked if he was offered at the UT camp today.

Participated in Tennessee's camp on Saturday, but still did not get an offer. He did offer some insight into what the coaches told him they have planned for the OL. He says South Florida is currently his favorite, largely due to the offer, but that is all subject to change with Vanderbilt and Tennessee coming into the fold. He says he is done with the camps for now and plans to stay put for the summer. He mentioned a visit to USF before July and wants to set a decision before August. Basically, if the coaches give him an offer he is ours to lose. He is an intriguing prospect, so it will be interesting to watch how Jones and staff handle this one.

“With the situation they’re in, they said they need a JUCO O-lineman, and they’ll probably take one more high school O-lineman, so they need to make sure they know what (options) they have,” Reagan said. “But they said I really, really helped myself today, and they’ll get back to me and stay in touch in the coming weeks.

“There were a few good D-line guys here, but we had a lot of talent at O-line here today. They pulled a few of us to the side afterward to talk to Coach (Butch) Jones, and those were the ones that showed out, I think. I was happy to be in that group.”

“You know, I don’t look at them as big rivals,” he said of the Vols and Dores. “I just look at both of them to see which is the place for me. I know Tennessee’s got a really fast pace and is all-business, but they’re trying to rebuild the program. They’re both trying to build something big, so they have to work harder than some other programs to get there."

Yeah we can't solve our entire roster problems with one class. The needs are everywhere. That being said, I wish Reagan could make this team somehow, even at DT

It is very close and if I had to guess I would guess they will offer. They had the eye in the sky on him all day. He loved the pace of the practice and felt it separated the top athletes from the others. The coach staff showed him a lot of attention and the current players did a great job in making him fill welcome. No matter what both the University of Tennessee and Bruno are going to be very successful one the next 4-5 years.

If we only sign four, that would mean just seven OL signees in three years and 12 scholarship OL on the roster in 2014...and that's not enough, IMO. I just have bad memories of our having lousy OL depth -- both in quantity & quality -- in Fulmer's last years, and we suffered the consequences.

That's why I think D Blair is the most important prospect on the board, regardless of position.

I think the coaches feel good about Crowder, Jackson, and Kerbyson as starters for 2014, but the situation at tackle isn't nearly as settled. If they can get Blair, I think he's a starter Day 1.

In my opinion, a JUCO player is never the most important prospect. Just my personal stance on it. They only impact a program for a year or two and they're volatile prospects in terms of panning out.

While I never consider any prospect "most important," I do value high school prospects over JUCOs.

You could make an argument for BCS Title contenders that a JUCO could put them over the top, but for our Vols, I don't think any JUCO is "most important."
