This recruiting cycle has upgraded the dline talent in a major way. Now we need 2 more like this to have a top shelf defensive line. Welcome to the top Sawyers!

Vandymania is delusional.. I almost feel bad for them. They really believe they are going to get a majority of the in-state talent next year and that a majority of our class won't make it on campus in the Fall. One person also said he would take their skinnier DL class over our larger DL class. Saying they have time to develop and they'll be "smart players" over our dumb big fat linemen. They are so proud of the 2* talent they got, they just don't see the writing on the wall.

Let them dream. Our DL is going to be nasty.

Coach Steve Stripling on Sawyers: "Michael comes with a winning character after being part of four state championships. He was very effective on both sides of the ball and will be an outstanding defensive tackle. He is physical at point of attack and he has the ability to pursue."
