So....just noticed Texas A&M dropped back below us in Rivals rankings. Nice, even if it really doesn't matter.

Vandy added another QB, like just now. That makes 8 commitments in the past couple of days. Sorry, but it looks like they may just fill up before Sawyers and Barnett have a change to flip. Just have to settle for Knoxville.

Ole Miss is a factor for sure. Not the slam dunk for the Vols that it felt like and seemed like Sunday night and Monday morning.

Dang I really hope this guy is a Vol. I was hoping that the news that Dews would be grey shirting as a sign that the staff received good news from Sawyers but I could be mistaken.

Hubbs said it. A person created a thread on tos because Saturday Down South predicted Sawyers to Ole Miss tonight and that was Hubbs response.

I've heard a few more mixed signals today than I did yesterday. I think Ole Miss definitely is still in play. I still would lean toward thinking Tennessee is the favorite, but I wouldn't count out the Rebels by any means.

I still think we have a good chance at landing him. My best guess is Tennessee 50%, ole miss 40%, little brother 10%. Part of the reason I think that is bc I believe the staff received news regarding him or another recruit and that's the reason Dews tweeted today that he would in fact he going to prep school for a few months and be a part of next years class.

But, if he picks ole miss I'm not going to throw around the $$$ sign as the reason why because there's no reason/evidence to believe that would be the case. If I was a recruit I wouldn't want my character being questioned if that wasn't the case, and I also wouldn't want other fans saying that's the reason we got a highly rated player over them, although I'm sure it happens all the time. If he doesn't pick us tomorrow I'd say there's a good chance that the amount of d-linemen we have coming in with this class had something to do with it. That being said we still need another true DT pretty badly in this class IMO, here's to hoping Sawyers fills that void.
