Good call on living on campus. Half (or more) of the college experience is getting out and living on your own.

The HOPE Scholarship will factor in too correct? Yeah, I agree. I think it's important to have that experience. I'm glad you realize this and are not trying to micromanage her college experience.

Yes, the 50% included the Hope. 4K for the Hope, 6k for the merit (Volunteer) scholarship. Plus she got 1k from a small scholarship from her high school.

Good stuff. Enjoy it while you can. I was on campus the other day and saw a bunch of the parents with the name tags walking around. Told my own parents that it seemed like they just moved me in yesterday.

Once she gets into the college of business her Jr year, apply for the departmental scholarships. The business school had some solid ones when I was there.

I would feel good about landing our in state D-linemen in Sawyers, Mosley, and Barnett. It would address an area of need and at the same time solidify UT as the team to beat in the state.

I really hope we step it up with this kid.

Anyone know if he is visiting again this summer?

Wouldn't mind getting Barnett and Gaulden in the fold with Vic, Hurd, and Kelly and have them all explain to Sawyers how much Vandy and Franklin suck.
