'14 TN DB Todd Kelly Jr. (UT Signee 2/5/14)

@ToddKellyJr6: It's not easy being a legacy, but it continues to be motivation for me everyday

I like that he's using the word legacy. That naturally implies that Tennessee is on his mind, and he somewhat considers that he has a connection to UT. Otherwise he would say something along the lines of high expectations beig difficult.

When vb chose OSU he said on twitter that he wouldn't disappoint. Pretty obvious he was talking about bell. I don't know nor care to look up a kids twitter account to provide a link.

Next year on my signing day I don't want to make the fans hate me, I want to make them proud

It's obvious code for "I'm tired being compared to my dad, and I'm motivated to make a name for myself."

Or, "There are a lot of expectations on me because my father was a great football player, but that motivates me to also excel in my trade, as a boss might."

Can read it a few ways, IMO

be careful not to overanalyze twitter.

this kid doesnt have to worry bout comin out from his dads shadow, hes plenty talented

I don't think it was a shot at bell at all. I think he was just saying no matter what school he picks, he doesn't want fans to be pissed at him.

He tweeted this right before that other one..

@ToddKellyJr6: Fans need to stop putting down 18 year olds, let them live their dream and play the game they love even if they don't pick your school

That quote has nothing to do with Bell because he had not committed yet. UT fans were nothing but supportive at that time of day because we were 100% on our recruits. He was probably talking about any of the other 1,000 commits and how other fans rip players. Vonn was our only gut shot. Everybody else was a long shot (see Levenberry, and no UT fan thought we had a great shot at this kid. A shot yes, but great shot no. It was not a surprise that he chose FSU.). So I never felt our fans were ripping players for their choices.

Bammers are certain he is going there. Say his girlfriend goes to bama and sister is a cheerleader. Does anybody have any insight?
