Welcome Rewound! Bring good accurate verifiable info up in here and ye shall be exalted .... along the same lines as 74 who accurately called Jalen Hurd. 74 is now on my Christmas card list and I will be inviting him to my kids highschool graduation ... and I don't know where or who he is.

Promise I won't worry anyone with crazy rumors or speculative BS. My only recent falter was calling Von Bell a "done deal". But that was told me by a relative who was wearing orange at his announcement!

Gaulden would be huge. He'll eventually end up a high 4-star type guy and Top 5 overall in the state when all is said done. IMO as a prospect he's right up there with the other big 4 in-state in this class (Hurd, Kelly, Bars and Malone).

Wow, he's that good? That's great to hear. This class is on a path for greatness. We might land all 5 of those guys. VQ mods have said that Butch has really turned things around with Bars and he's high on the Vols. It would be a pretty big deal for Butch to land the top 5 guys instate in his first full cycle. Especially since all 5 could go just about anywhere.

If you have time , what makes him such a great target? Do you believe recruiting services believe this as well?

I've seen multiple people say they think Gaulden is actually better than TKjr. I don't know if I would say that, but they're both phenomenal.

I love the kids physical nature. He plays with no fear. Not only is he is a great athlete with great speed but he has excellent explosiveness and he uses that with how physical he plays. Excellent lateral quickness as well.

I've mentioned before that I think he could project as an even better cornerback prospect than safety. That is how good of a prospect I think he is.

I think he'll end up making a significant jump over time in the rankings. Didn't he miss much of his junior year or something like that?

I do think he's that good.

Landing Bars would be unbelievable. That right there would prove Butch is going to be an elite recruiter. That is the one guy in-state I had definitely written off just based on his families ties to all those midwestern schools.

For the record, Morley would have been great (I mean GREAT) if he was in a different system. Swain and Riggs said he could've been better than Eric Berry.
