'14 TN DB Rashaan Gaulden (UT Signee 2/5/14)

Lol, Coleman's ball skills are not prototypical and that hurts him more than little at CB Pimp. You already know that though. Lol he loses his mind on deep balls thrown downfield. Lol

Nah... Justin is cool. Sunseri just coached him to mess up. Hell Sunseri coached EVERY player to mess up (he even coached Teague to give up 3td's against UF). Sunseri has been coaching players to mess up for years. That is how he made a career out of coaching football. Thought you heard.

You can say that about every other position on D except CB... once you lock up its simply defend or get beat...

Football is probably the most "team" sport with the exception of CB... its just you all by yourself in man coverage...

Coleman will be a great nickel...

He was being sarcastic. Lol But Sunseri gave them no help by calling one coverage all game. It makes it easy on an OC knowing exactly what coverage they'll be in every down.

It also makes it easy for an OC to when a team doesn't have a DC that knows what they're doing. "Oh, that didn't work. Let's try that coverage again and see if they notice."

Dave Hooker said today that Gaulden would likely be committing within the next few days. Tifwiw

85% certainty...and then even laughed about that number "Don't ask me how I came up with that...oh and Erik? Did I tell you how much I love the wings?"

Cover the wideout in front of you. Not real confusing, unless you don't know what "cover" or "in front of you" means,

Its confusing if u dont get the playcall or adjustments like it seemed like the whole D had a problem with last year or if you are doing that pattern matching crap....its not like the 50s. They dont just say, "see that guy? cover him all game."

I love beating Franklin for a recruit . Like a cold beer and a hot dog at a spring baseball game. Just gets better and better . When this bird commits , can that poster come up with a funny twitter reply ala Franklin style?

you can play with a bunch of legacies, or build one. If you aren't at the bottom, you're not anchoring down!

I think he said it was 89% because he was wondering why not 90% or 91%. lol

I bet Franklin is wishing he jumped ship. He's never going to get a better opportunity for a better job then he had this past season.

Glad he didn't go. Snakehead needs to stay in the hellhole that is Pansybilt and take the UT ass whuppins he's got coming to him.

Franklin will sign a couple in-state kids that had UT offers, but weren't really being pursued, and then proclaim to the world that he owns the state. His typical MO.

I doubt it. He's so arrogant, he's like one of the hundreds of actors who says "no, I don't regret anything I've done", after a life of broken marriages, addictions, and children scattered to the wind

"Particularly, I'm watching Byron Moore," Gaulden said. "He's a safety here right now and he's doing his thing out there on the field and he's leading that defense and I like to see that and since he's a senior hopefully I could come in next year and fill his spot."

"That's big time. Every time I come up here and every time I talk to coach Martinez and coach Jancek that relationship grows all the the time," Gaulden said. "We're just so chill and we joke around and we're very laid back. That relationship is growing big time."

"It definitely does. Seeing some of my guys commit, that's big time. Of course you want to go to a college where you know a lot of people that are committed and I already have those relationships with them and if I came here I'd gel right in with them," Gaulden said.

"It's just the way they brought us in for the first visit. Being able to run (into the Neyland Stadium) and just feeling the love instantly the minute you walk in here and the coaches greeting you at the door. That's big-time," Gaulden said. "Players look at that when they come in here and see the coaches reaching out to you. We really like that."

So VQ says the coaches have talked to Gaulden about playing CB, but in that quote Gaulden mentions taking over BM's spot at Safety....
