'14 TN APB Jalen Manning

Is Manning another one of De'Vinner's kids?

Sorry if i sound like a recruiting noob by saying this, but who exactly is this De'vinner guy? I hear his name mentioned around high profile in-state recruits and his name always carries bad news, but who is he exactly? Is he a coach?

Coaches a 7 on 7 team and involves himself in the recruiting process for whatever reason.

Kid looked like a legit DI prospect. Coughed the ball up once on what would have been a first down run. Ran a kick return back for a touchdown. They didn't kick it to him the rest of the night.

193 yards on 22 carries. 2 receptions for 20 yards. 3 touchdowns. Lousy competition but Gordonsville played them tough.

In '14 I'd take the 2 Jalens at rb and call it a day.

sn.. if that happens we could potentially have 3 rb's named Jalen.

I'm really happy for Jalen. I've grown up with him and have been friends with him since 4th or 5th grade. One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and works harder than anyone I know. Played with him since we were 5 or 6, but had a back injury Soph. year and had to quit.
