'14 SC RB Caleb Kinlaw

I hope he makes it in, we need him. But he had a lot of work to do in the class room this spring, not just an ACT score.

Tom Smith? Haven't heard him mentioned much by the new staff. Have you?

I read something about him today...I think he's been hurt.

1 QB
3 RB
4 WR
5 OL
2 TE
5 DL
5 LB
6 DB

I'd prefer 4 RB's but numbers likely won't allow that.
Find room for another DL, either from RB or TE, and this is exactly what I would like to see.

Losing our top 3 DTs and top 3 DEs makes it the biggest priority along with OL.

I would be happier to see a 6th DL,LB,or OL I dont think we should turn down a 4 star player at DB but it seems like were going to get atleast 4 4*s there. If the same happens at LB and DL I will poop myself.

I think we may already have the TE's, RB's, and CB's covered. Just a matter of when they announce.

He is take all day IMO, Paulk and Hurd will not be scared of. I've heard rumors of coaches telling them two backs and heard 3 backs.' I say take three, don't believe it'll have any negative effect. Kinlaw is a quality back, good speed and strong for his size. I've always like him and Paulk. Hope we get all three. Oh and Chubb won't come here, saw statements out of his mouth that it didn't matter how many a college was taking that he would be ready to out compete them but the latest was Tennessee already has two, yada yada yada. Kinlaw for 3rd back.

Kinlaw is definitely a take if he wants to commit. That would make 3 solid running backs. We will need the depth in case of injuries or other possible situations. Also opens up more time to concentrate on other areas of need. Take him and close the rb file.

JMO but neither of these guys are quality SEC backs. So like JC said I don't see any reason we don't sign 3 at minimum

Lee definitely has SEC quality potential, but I agree about Smith. Honestly until a kid gets on campus and gets going nobody has a clue how he will turn out or if he is SEC quality. Look at Arian. He was just a 3* and won the NFL rushing title a few yrs ago. We just dont know if a kid peaks his SR YR or just scraping the surface.

I think Foster caused himself problems mentality. He just had some really bad fumbles in some big moments, and really fell out of trust with Fulmer. He then used that for motivation, and it's why some people say he bashed UT when he got into league.

I just met Caleb and his family. They were supposed to get here at 10 but were running a little late and couldn't find the complex to check in so we showed them the way. Very nice people and we made sure to let him know we would be happy to have him. Go Vols!

Thanks for helping him out! If this day goes good for him we all may be happy later this weekend! You've done your part!

Did they have any hair dye products with them?

The tips of his dreads are not colored orange... Yet. Nice state championship rings though.

Thanks for the news. Glad to hear they made it up safely. Weather was nasty leaving out of Charleston this morning.

Did you happen to see a tall lanky kid in their group? That would be Kalan Ritchie.

We take this commitment, Paulk and Hurd I believe would be the first ones to tweet/text/congratulate Kinlaw. This kid could be very good, he has ton of experience at his HS, fast, agile, tough, Dreads. This is a take. No reason not too, I mean I want Hurd at RB just as much or more than anyone else but what if it doesn't work out that way?
He seems to be a great kid and he hasn't shied away since the two big RB prospects committed unlike Chubb. I'm pullin for Caleb, he is a Vol to me, and he has liked us for a couple years now. And those two championships rings on his fingers, he was huge part of that. Winner + Vols=KinVol
