"I play as hard as I can," Kelleher said. "I work as hard as I can on footwork and agility. The only thing I want to do is get better. I think I got my work ethic from my dad. He's a nuclear engineer. He works hard all day long and I just have watched him and he's who I look up to."

"Tennessee is awesome," Kelleher said. "They have a great engineering program. Their fans are awesome and the coaches are great. They are already treating me like family. They are one of my top schools."

"As a staff they are awesome," Kelleher said. "They care about their players and they are everything you would want from a coaching staff."

"Playing time will play a factor, but it's not the main thing," Kelleher said. "I will do whatever the coaches want me to do. If they need me to play then I'll do my best. If they want me to redshirt then that's fine as well. I want a school with good people and a good engineering program. I just try to take into account what each school has to offer."

He has a really nice offer list, but it's kind of weird that none of the instate schools have offered.

I have been confused about something. Why list a OL 40 time? I understand listing a DT's 40 time but why would a 40 time be important for a OL?

The new offense stresses downfield blocking, not just line of scrimmage blocking, so we need big fast linemen that can run to the endzone with the RB's.

Having and listing Eric Fisher's 40 time probably bumped him from a top 20 pick to a #1 overall. You don't see guys on the OL who are that athletic very often and his 40 time made him a lot of money last month IMO.

I think there's a bit of hyperbole to this assumption. At the very least, they are less interested in the 40 than the 10 and 20 splits.

"Quick note or two on Noah Kelleher....

I just visited with Noah Kelleher. He had a great day on campus. He was blown away by the campus and the coaching staff on campus. He also met Tiny, James, and Zach today.

Kelleher is a mid-term enrollee and has already seen Va Tech, Ga Tech, South Carolina, Clemson, Ga, NC State.

He didn't name a leader and hopes to make a decision at the end of summer or early in September.

I will have a full story later. He was heading to dinner here in town and was again very impressed with his day on campus."

"It's a beautiful place. Everything there is great," Kelleher said. "My offensive line coach and coach Mahoney have known each other for a while. He told me he was a great place and it was. Coach Mahoney and I have been talking a lot. He is very personable as everyone in the program is. Coach Jones was around me all day. He basically spent the day with me. He is a super nice guy and you can tell he really does care." "I really didn't expect must from a campus standpoint," Kelleher said. "It's just amazing. It's a beautiful campus and the facilities they have for everything is amazing."

"I'm not sure what we are going to do from here," Kelleher said. "I'm so blessed to have this opportunity. We will just see how it goes. I'm planning on graduating a semester early so I would like to try and do something before the end of the summer or during the first couple of games of my senior year."

"Coach Mahoney said he really likes my agility and my speed to get to the second level and that he also really likes my character. That's something that is very nice to hear," Kelleher said.

The Vols are hoping to hear very good things from the South Carolina native later this summer.

Clemson offered and sounds like Dabo throwing on the hot sauce....

"I've been waiting on that one since day one," Kelleher first told Tigerillustrated.com Monday morning. "They told me they freed up a scholarship because they have a guy they put on injured reserve. That freed one up." "They told me instead of offering (and signing) five offensive linemen (next year) they are going to offer (and sign) only four if I come," Kelleher said. "They said they are waiting on me and they would offer one other guy from instate or one from up North, but they are are waiting on me first."

"They said they watched my film and wanted to offer me first before the other guys so I can decide whether I want to go there or not," Kelleher said. "They said they might offer two others in a couple of weeks. I felt honored they would do that for me ... to give me a chance to think it over."

He just returned from a weekend stay, Friday until Sunday night, at Tennessee.
"They had a camp going on, but a lot of the coaches found time to speak with me," Kelleher said. "They went out of their way to make my visit the best it could be. I had lunch with the head coach (Butch Jones) and toured the campus. They had some of their committed guys call me. It was a really good visit."

Which programs stick out for the 6-foot-6, 285-pounder?
"Definitely Tennessee now because it was awesome there," Kelleher said. "Also Florida, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Georgia and NC State."

UF offered as well. He says he's going to visit Clemson soon, maybe next week.
