'14 OR DE Connor Humphreys

Are you guys f'in serious? It's no wonder most of you have several thousand posts.

Geez.

My thoughts exactly. If I wanted some fashion tips I wouldn't tune out my girlfriend as much. The only thing that I'm getting out of this besides Ron's info is a good laugh at these morons debating over shorts.

Cargo argument is simple. If you make more than 20000 a year you don't wear cargo shorts unless you are military or law enforcement. They are trash.

Great logic there. Lets get this man a Nobel Peace Prize. I mean hell, they gave Obama one....why not this fellow.

A lot of butt hurt cargo short wearers ITT.

Lol brilliant and original. We'll done.

When logic doesn't work for you, plan b is recycled digs at people for not letting you get away with slamming fashion choices for no reason.

I was in a fraternity at UT and dressed with the polos and khakis, however have lived in CA for the last 12 years. It's funny that the fraternity guys are wearing the exact same clothes I was 20 years ago. I have brought friends in from CA to UT games and they rag on the fraternity guys and their clothes. Polos, Khakis and boat shoes. They get a real kick out of it.

Newsflash! Cargo shorts are still worn here and are amongst 95% of the country. I don't understand this elitist Southern dress code that thinks that everyone should dress like country club members.

You guys really took a statement I made largely in jest and ran with it. I'm glad the kid had a good time on the visit, and I hope he ends up a Vol. I don't care what kind of shorts he has on. I was just saying that they are apparently still popular among the youth...you guys really took it further than it needed to go lol.

I'm sure they were laughing while wearing their flat bills, 3x oversized tee shirts and sagging pants. I'll apologize for not dressing like I'm in the 4th grade next time I see them.

It is amazing to me that anyone, least of all Tennesseans, have spent a couple of pages talking about what is stylish or appropriate. Really? Have you been to a local Walmart? He has clothes on. They appeared to fit. Well done. That's far more than I can say for some.

The subject of the thread seems like a great prospect. He strikes me as one we need and who would fit in well here. Can we focus on him now?

Back to lurking...

From what I've seen most young guys in TN dress like douche wagons. Connor keep it real brutha!

Though I was not a frat member, I am glad they dress that way, rather than wearing their pants half way down their ass. If I walked on campus, and had my choice of partying around the elitist frat boys, or a bunch of thugs, I would choose those frat boys. Can some be a bit snobbish? Maybe, but at least they have some self respect. Not a bad thing, IMO.

Yep, nothing says self respect like butt chugging.

My original post wasn't really to bash the way they dress. I don't have a problem with it. Hell I was one. I just think its funny that they make fun of others for the way they dress (ie: wearing cargo shorts, flip flops) when those they are making fun of are laughing back at them (boat shoes, croakies). Just differences in different parts of the country.

And so you think because someone wears cargo shorts, that they are a thug?

Oh good. I thought we had moved on to talking about how his visit went, but I see we are still talking about 18 year old kids' fashion.

Good gawd! They are shorts that are seated properly around his waistline. What does it matter?

Lulz, agreed. Back to Connor.
