On Cornwell, just talked to the guys at Soonerscoop.com, our Oklahoma site, and they said Cornwell isn't a Norman, Oklahoma, native and that his family moved around a lot. Also, OU's top QB target is Justice Hansen and they are the favorites right now for him.

This should put to rest that we will only recruit a true dual threat qb, he is about as true a pro-style as it gets.

The good thing about this offense is it's flexibility with the QB position. You can mold the offense around a Denard Robinson or a Peyton Manning and find success.

I really liked the way this kid moves around and the explosiveness and arm whip in his delivery.

Can't wait to see his game film and how he makes reads and goes thru his progressions! Haven't seen the ball jump out of a HS QB's hand like this since Stafford.

That's why I say Worley will get the job and we will see Petermam in a lot of wildcat looks.

I'm not so sure. With a new coaching staff and system I assume that neither Peterman or Worley will start with an edge in spring practice. Peterman has a great arm but we haven't seen him on the field yet; Worley we've seen play in limited action, but I would not put it past him to shine in this offense with a lot of quick short to medium range passes.

Overall we won't know until Spring practice is over, but I'll be happy with either of the two getting the nod.

Think Peterman could have the advantage. Is perfect for CBJ offense and was heavily recruited by him at Cincy, wo we know he likes Peterman alot. But definitely will be an open competition to follow. Either way we will be bette represented as both seem to be level headed and Peterman in particular has been said to be a great leader.

With his stature and throwing motion, he reminds me of Phillip Rivers with more mobility. (and, hopefully, he's not as big a douche, either)

His top two right now are UCLA and UA, which he has recently visited both in the last month. Neither have offered though and both want to see him throw in person before deciding. He wants to announce in June or July at the latest so he can start recruiting for the class.

Who else is rounding out your top schools?

"Alabama, UCLA for sure and I just had Michigan on there but since they got their commit, I'm scratching them off until further notice. The other two right now would be Virginia Tech and Tennessee. There are a lot of variables for that fifth team. I have a laundry list of teams that I can put in there. I guess among the teams that could be No. 5 would be LSU, Indiana because they've offered, Washington State or something like that. One of those teams."

Rivals.

Just tweeted, "Scheduled to meet with Peyton Manning in April #Tennessee"

That is awesome. Butch is putting on a clinic as far as showing the previous staff how to use all of The University of Tennessee's "resources" imo. Eric Berry at fanfest, Peyton as a keynote speaker in April, etc. The man is doing work.

Cornwell narrowed his list to four schools -- Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia Tech. Only UGA hasn’t offered yet. In addition to his upcoming trip to Tuscaloosa, he also plans to visit both Tennessee and Virginia Tech this spring.

He just visited UGA.

“I think every offer I’ve gotten from almost every school is contingent on coming to a summer camp.

It seems alot of schools are doing the same thing this year and telling these kids to get a firm offer you have to perform at camp. So anyone that complained UA did it so is UT which is actualy very smart for the staff. It gives them a chance to work 1 on 1.

UA has offered 4 QBs and all 4 were told the same thing. Come to camp and compete for the one spot in the 2014 class. All 4 have said they have no issue with it.

Big time arm, and is not completely immobile either.

Depending on how the combines go and camps he could end up one of the top QBs in the class.

If I remember correctly he wants to announce during the summer after camping at his top 4 schools. It would be a great addition to a class to help swing other top recruits.
