Wolf's comments on the UGA game...

It was awesome to watch them play with a team like Georgia. They were just a couple of plays away from winning the game. I mean, if they score in the first overtime on that first and goal we win which is awesome to see compared to where we were a couple of weeks ago. The fans were outstanding and I can't wait to the South Carolina game.

Wolf had five catches for 40 yards and a touchdown, along with seven tackles and two sacks on defense, in Minster's 28-21, double-overtime win over Versailles. Up next is St. John's in the regular season finale.

Hope this guy is ready to show up and start blocking. He could see some PT next year.

Him being an EE will be huge for us. Between him, Downs, and an AJ Branisel who's been in a collegiate strength and conditioning program for a year, we should finally be able to use some heavy TE sets.

For real. Downs just isn't getting it done.

You know Downs had a knee dilocation last year right?

Him even playing this year is great! If his knee improves, he will be good. He looked good pre-injury last year.

Yeah downs was lighting it up under bray. Has to be injuries coupled with less than stellar qb play

Also worth noting that this guy is playing very snap on offense almost. If 2 or Branisel, Wolf, and Helm are able to crack the rotation and take some of the load off Downs, he may fare better.

I am assuming Woody Quinn is a wash?

He may very well turn a corner next season, but I think the fact that he's been passed over by Branisel in getting reps at the 2nd TE spot is telling of Quinn.

The light may come for him, but at this point is expect Wolf to come in and steal his reps at least in blocking scenarios by next season and Helm to pass him by as a receiving target as well

For those of you saying he’d be a great left tackle, what evidence are you using to support this? Just a feeling? Film study?
