was taken at The Opening. there was like 15 kids who had a 40 inch vertical. its bogus. there were lineman running 4.7 40s
everything at The Opening was bogus. I guess you didnt watch it
lolok
Yeah, I watched it. Carter looked like a beast. Has a ways to go for technique but you can't teach his size/speed.
And, yes, the huge event that recruits fly from all over the country to attend that costs thousands of dollars is bogus because dude watching from his sofa doesn't agree.
sound logic
And if he's jumping 39 inches, is that any less impressive? I mean, good lord people. The kid has FREAKISH measurables and you want to nitpick numbers? Henderson is close to where he should be ranked as is Carter.
If you haven't seen there are multiple ways to test it though. Some are more generous than others. I don't take the tests on these HS kids seriously except for the sure fire no speculation tests (weight, 40, etc)Uh.. How high your feet are off the ground at the highest point of your jump? Not sure if the opening measures by the tape slap but that is what the NFL uses. It's pretty accurate and cannot be fudged.
i personally dont think he can run a 4.5
I wasn't talking about his 40. I was replying to you asserting that the whole opening was bogus. Happens that one of our top commitments made it public on ESPN that he will play for the Vols. Surely, you don't think that was bogus.
I could care less what his 40 time was or is.
