Gurley/Marshall= Hurd/Scott
Biggest difference is one combo is proven and Scott while not as fast as Marshall has better vision and footwork. I do think they'll have that type of impact for our offense. So glad to get some dangerous RBs here that can make plays on their own at times.
I googled for his 40 time and found some reports of closer to 4.4 (4.41), but I guess we'll have to wait and see how he looks on the field in Knoxville. Even if he runs at 4.5, with moves like that, he's dangerous.
Scott finished his stellar career at Havelock with a 58-5 record as the starting running back, including winning 47 of the last 48 with three consecutive state titles. He rushed for 6,166 yards in four seasons with 88 touchdowns on 656 carries. As a senior, he totaled 2,205 yards and 25 scores on 235 carries. He scored 34 touchdowns as a junior.
To give some context, Urban Meyer told Scott that he could be used as the next Percy Harvin during the brief time that he was being courted by Ohio State.
Just read an article where Urbz told Scott he could be "the next Percy Harvin". Why does he use that like so much?

I'm just scouring articles for opinions (all are extremely positive and similar). Just found this funny when I remembered in his announcement he said you have to weed out all the BS you hear from some coaches
I know TL;DR, cool story bro
I don't even think he starts out as that. I think he starts out as "offensive weapon". 3rd down backs general play a lot of 3rd downs and that's about it, but I see us throwing Scott out there a good bit on any down just to give that home run threat in the backfield. If I could pick percentages for snaps played by RBs, I'd go:Yeah Woody Wommack of Rivals said he "could" be an every down back in college, but he'll probably start out as a 3rd down back when he first gets to UT.
