Against my better judgment, I looked it up on urban dictionary, and it means a stiff drink in the morning.

Given my past googles of terms that involve the steering of a ship or a certain Mexican name, you'd think I'd avoid urbandictionary and the like altogether.

I gotta tell ya guys. I live here in NC and got to watch Scott on tv last night playing in what looked like his state championship game. And all i can say is i am not impressed! He is fast but looks like a scat back. And I don't know about you but i am tired of scat backs.

I did see however a RB on the other team that looked very impressive. Not sure if i have his name right but i think he was Rocky Reed. Something like that. Had a weird name. But that kid was a junior 6'1 210 pds and looks like a future D1 RB.

So I am not sold on Scott. He is over rated IMO. Sorry but would not waste a scholly on this type of RB. JMO!

He isn't an all purpose back, and that's not what we are recruiting him for.

His footwork and vision mixed with his "scat back" speed makes him a weapon. If he just had speed and just ran around corners then yea I'd agree. But the kid has speed, quick step, great vision, nice footwork, and he runs with great fluid motion. I'll take him. Wouldn't start him over Hurd but he's definitely the Marshal to Gurley ( sorry know we had Georgia but it makes sense.)

Look at how Butch and Bajakian used Ralph David Abernathy in 2012. He had 707 yards from scrimmage on 97 touches, averaging 7 yards for every non return touch, and Scott is more talented than him coming out of HS.

I live here in North Carolina too. My boys' ex-high school is Greenville Rose, a 4A school with a rich football tradition. We won four straight 4A state titles not too terribly long ago. Kentavius Street is a defensive lineman on Rose this year and he was a high profile recruit. Rose this year also had 10 players on the team that run a 4.55 or better. We played Havelock HS, Scott's team and a 3A school, the past two years and Scott has absolutely destroyed us, made us look like a bad jv team. Scott is fast but elusive too. He knows how to cut, use his blockers, etc. He is not a power back but he is not a scat back either. The kid can be an every down back and I would take him in a heartbeat. He is just a winner, in the class room too.
