"It went great," Scott said about his most recent visit to South Carolina. "I was able to watch the coaches teach a little bit and see how they interact with the players. It was good."
The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder plans on visiting Florida State, Florida, Ohio State, and Notre Dame at some point during the summer.
He listed Florida State, Ohio State, and Notre Dame in his top four along with South Carolina. He broke down what he likes about each.
Florida State: "I like Coach (Jay) Graham," Scott said. "He was at South Carolina and he was the guy that recruited Marcus Lattimore. He is a good recruiter and I enjoy talking to him."
Ohio State: "I like their offense," Scott said. "I like Coach (Urban) Meyer. He is good with offensive players. He is good with players like me. He said that I could be like Percy Harvin in their offense."
Notre Dame: "I really don't know much about them," Scott said. "I know they have a good football tradition."
Despite South Carolina being in good shape, Scott isn't giving off the impression that he is closing in on a decision.
"It depends," Scott said. "I'm not exactly sure right now. I still want to take some official visits and it just depends."

I don't get the sense from what I've read that Tenn is really an option. Sounds pretty strongly like it will be SC or FSU, with Oregon having an outside shot.
If Jay Graham were still at UT though....
i agree he helped bring in a damn good group of players last yr sure he didnt get the RB but who's to say he couldnt land hurd if he was the RB coach now?
Jalen Hurd committed within a week of Graham leaving. Graham did help us in recruiting. Just not running backs. His work on Marquez North cannot be discounted.
Let's not over praise someone who chose to leave Vol Nation for at best a lateral move. The proof of his incredible recruiting prowess is a string of close misses where he was the lead. Second place does not count in recruiting. Good riddance.
The fact that we were 5-7, had a coach obviously on the hot seat (who was fired), had a pass happy OC, and a defense that didn't allow us the chance to run the ball and play keep away didn't have anything to do with why we couldn't land a top running back, did it?
Every loser has an excuse. Is Graham your son? That is the only acceptable excuse for you to whine like a little girl about all the reasons he was a loser. Keep crying and maybe you will fall asleep and have a happy dream where you and Jay Jay go skipping through a filed of daisies. Remember though, those daisies are Vol colors and Jay may leT go of your hand.
You sound like one of those idiots that will spout off "I done new Butch Jones was a dawg gone loser" if he doesn't work out.
