Position: QB
Year: Class of 2014
High School: Davidson Day
(Davidson, NC)

He's a real gun slinger for a Sophomore.

Stats this season:
Att Complete Yards TD's
358 225 3,485 45

Plays at a small school and this is their 1st season of varsity football. But, his stats are still impressive regardless of the competition he's playing against.

He's being recruited by UGa, UF, Duke, & UVa. Virginia, Clemson, Duke, Wake Forest, and back to Georgia."

Will Grier is staying open-minded right now about his future, but names UGA

as being one of the schools of high interest.

"I saw some of their athletic facilities and talked to some of the coaches last summer at camp," he said. "I really liked it, so I’d like to tour it in a more official way."
Chad Grier knows his son, and quarterback, can play at the collegiate level.

Where at?

For the entertainment value, I work one shift a week in a restaurant in Huntersville, NC. which neighbors Davidson, NC. The place is called Red Rocks Cafe. The kid works their as a busser.

He normally plays basketball this time of year, but took this season off to put on weight. Said scouts from Florida are on him.

“The thing that stands out is the amazing facilities and they’re building new ones,” the 2014 prospect said when asked what he liked about the visit. “They are building a brand new facility that we got to see the plans for. It's amazing.”

“Nah, I love competition,” Grier said when asked whether Ferguson's commitment could affect his decision. “He's a great player. If he beats me out, he beats me out, but that wouldn't stop me from going to a school ... If I have an opportunity to play and the coaches want me, I'm going to go compete and we'll see.”

Grier said he wants to play his college football in the Southeast, but not necessarily near his home.-ESPN

The facilities are being mentioned by every prospect, they are really paying off.

"It was awesome. I really love the coaches and I talked to coach (Jim) Chaney. All the coaches seemed really nice and down to earth," Grier said. "The facilities were amazing. They've got a really good plan for the school and the football program there."

"They said I'm the best they've seen in the 2014 class and just all around the best and they just can't wait to recruit me hard," Grier said.

"The things that stood out really were the facilities were amazing and they're building more and we got to see the plan, the video, to see what it was going to look like and it's amazing," Grier said. "Between that and the coaches, they were very instructive and good teachers and they were cool. Between those two things I was just really impressed."
