We need to load up on LBs ASAP. Glad the coaches were right on D.Sapp he actually looked as good as Lathers when he got in. But we'll need Lathers against power running teams.

"They are a good program," Register said. "They aren't too far from home and I've met coach Graham before. We've talked on Facebook some and he wants me to come up to Rocky Top this spring. I'm looking forward to getting to know more about Tennessee."

He hasn't thought about a decision, but does know the criteria that will be important for him when he evenually sits down to work toward a decision.

"I don't want to go to a college if I'm not going to play until my Junior season," Register said. "I feel like playing early is imporant to me. I also want to find a place where the team interacts well with each other. A school where the coaches are good and have good relationships with their players. Just have a good comfort level on and off the field."

Register was one of the most active players on the field. He proved to be a ferocious pass-rusher, dominating running backs who tried to block him using rip moves, swim moves or simply overpowering them. During one-on-ones and skeleton drills, Register showed he has the ability to play in space and cover smaller, faster players in the open field.

Next to Bates, this is the most appealing LB on the board IMO. Hopefully Thigpen can make up and grow from what Graham started.

Register has one visit scheduled – Florida State on June 12. After his trip to Tallahassee, he said he may also stop by*LSU. He then mentioned he would like to get to Clemson, North Carolina, N.C. State, South Carolina and Tennessee this summer.

It would be sweet to get Register and Featherston out of Greensboro. Don't think it'll happen though.
