Moseley had a PBU on Shaq Davidson. The announcer commented on how nice Moseley's body control was on the play. There was a holding penalty on an OL so not sure he'll get credit for a PBU.

Jacob Park (UGA commit) is now QB for SC and he took a zone read up the middle, tackled by Moseley.

Is he our only target/commit in this game?

I think at this point, yes. Derrell Scott isn't playing due to injury. Some other guys we were interested in before/once recruited are playing...Poona Ford, Chris Register, Jalan McClendon, Elijah Hood, Kaleb Kinlaw, Shaq Davidson.

@RivalsWoody: Tennessee commit Emmanuel Moseley saves a touchdown with a pass deflection on a deep pass. Was beat by Davidson

LOL @ woody wommack. How was Moseley beat if he saved at TD? Woody's mad.

At the very least, this kid can be a significant special teamer if he puts on even a little weight. He's willing to be physical in his highlights - he just needs some strength. Anyone who watched our kick coverage units knows we desperately need to fast gunners. He's worth the EE just for this IMO.

I think so too. He's playing some punt coverage right now in the Shrine Bowl.

I thing he was complimenting his recovery ability.

That's what my post was saying too. All CBs/Safetys get beat. However, the ability to recover and make a play is what separates the good from the great. It's also something UT hasn't had recently.

That's why I like his speed, you can't teach that. I was mainly questioning his physicality. I want our cb's to walk up to the line and physically intimidate the WR's, knowing that they are going to punish them getting off the line every play

Moseley with blanket coverage and a PBU on a deep ball. Could have been a PI, but he was looking back for the football. :)

Also had a nice touchdown saving tackle on the SC running back. Took his legs out.

Yup, kid is completely raw at the position, but I do think his 3* ranking makes sense, but its the type of 3 star you need a few of each class.

Huge upside, but all the athletic tools.

I see what Martinez sees in EM. Like a lot. Anticipation and recovery with the physical attributes. Adds 10 lbs. of muscle and he will be match-up issue for opposing OC's.

South Carolina commit Shaq Davidson beat Tenn. commit Emmanuel Moseley with :16 left for a 20-yard TD. Clutch throw by Mason Rudolph.
