QB? You mean a RB that occasionally fumbles the ball forward to a WR? haha

But in all seriousness... looking forward to the upgrade in speed this young man will bring!

I hope that Payne is an EE, all I know is that about a month ago he was not considered an EE by the coaches.

IMO Payne is a kid you want to be an EE based on his talent and need at his position. Critical IMO. He must have got some good news since whatever you saw.

It is exciting the level of athlete we are bringing into the secondary with this year's class. Long overdue infusion of athleticism.

I wouldn't mind if sutton, Evan berry, and one of Moseley or Payne were on the field at the same time. I think Gaulden, Kelly, or McDowell takes McNeil's spot. A lot will depend on if they convince Evan to play defense or not. That decision will have a big impact on Gaulden I think.

Prob Moseley... He does look rail thin right now. Hopefully our s&c program changes that quick

If he's as fast and athletic as they say, he can be used in man coverage situationally when all that matters is that his man doesn't catch the ball while he bulks up.

But if they check to a toss sweep tho.... I used to get knocked out a lot taking on fb's or ol. Corner is a very tough position to play some days

Lol nobody is trashing him man. VL asked a question and the espn guy answered it.

I see that. Thanks. In all honesty, a redshirt year would probably be the best case scenario unless we use him as a returner. If he redshirts, that means we are getting good production from cb while he gets a year to hit the weights.

Ya it would be in situations where all that matters is his man doesn't catch a pass downfield. He'll probably get blocked easily until he bulks up, although Cam isn't huge and blows us to screens to his side often. Just hard to keep that speed off the field when Coleman is getting burned over and over.
