'14 MD OT Damian Prince

Wish we actually had a shot here. I'd feel really good about one more OL pick-up, and this guy could certainly have a shot at seeing PT as a freshman. Probably not a starter(as a frosh), but could definately see him in the rotation.

We're still in good position for Blair, the JUCO OL.

So winning is important to Prince, which explains why FSU - who is far away from Prince's hometown - makes sense. But being close to home explains why MD - who is anything but a winner these days (3 of 4 last seasons are losing seasons and a combined 17-32 during that time) - makes sense.

I hope no one paid $$ for this in-depth analysis....

FWIW, from a question about Damian Prince on ESPN. Keep em both out the SEC if we aren't in play, imo.

@RTDaSilva3 asks: locals are saying [Damian] Prince is leaning towards #Terps. How big of an impact would his commitment be?
Shanker: You’re right, as it looks like Maryland is in the driver’s seat for not just Prince but talented defensive back Jalen Tabor as well. At different times in each player’s recruitment it seemed like Maryland was running behind, but the Terps have always been at least near the top and are now close to securing both of the region’s top prospects. A commitment from Prince and Tabor would bring national headlines to a team that has struggled to produce them on the field under Randy Edsall. And if the Terps struggle again in 2013, a recruiting class with the likes of Jess Aniebonam, Prince and Tabor could keep Edsall around for 2014.
