John Curtis is a powerhouse in south La. In the title game damn near every year winning it. Joe McKnight came outta John Curtis. They have some big boys on that team

"No, I really don't (have any leaders)," Young said. "I want to give everyone a chance. Actually I really like everyone who has offered me. I'm interested in them. I could go in as a freshman and have a bright future and set my life at anyone of those schools and they would be a great fit for me. I'll have to go on visits and see how things really are."

He has already visited UCLA, LSU and Ole Miss, and may take another visit very soon.

"I think me and my dad are thinking about going to the Alabama [junior day]," Young said. "I'm invited. I think I may go to that one this weekend."

Young is ranked No. 191 in the Rivals250 and holds offers from Arizona State, Baylor, Florida, Georgia Tech, Houston, LSU, Michigan, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Tulane, and UCLA.

Yeah we struck out on the kids from Alabama, so let's mosey down to LSU's backyard and give it a go. Maybe check out the Austin area next.

I was thinking the same thing. This kid is NOT really considering UT. Have to laugh at bumping EVERY LB thread because a couple bama LBs decided to stay close to home.

Sorry I was bumping them to talk about other prospects. I guess we should just assume we're not going after any kids cus we'll never get them. We should just not talk about prospects cus we have no chance with any kid in any state other than Tennessee? If that's how you feel, fine but you're a fool if you think we're not recruiting them. And any kid were recruiting is worth talking about.

I will, as I was doing. And you obviously didn't read their comments. If you had you would know I wasn't the one "b!itching" about anything.

Anywayssss, how about this kid? He stated he wants to hear from Ut more. Anyone hear any evaluations on him?

These bumps are the exact same as the bumps from the guys who "police" the recruiting forum to make sure certain guys never make it to page 2.

Or I'd just like to talk about this kid because there isn't much in his thread so far and he's a position of need. I don't understand why everyone is making such a fuss about a poster wanting to talk about a recruit. Some of y'all are wound way too tight about things that really shouldn't matter.

I think the "fuss" is you bumped all these threads and are claiming you want to "talk about" the recruits, yet you have not said ANYTHING about them. I guess if you have nothing to say, just don't bump them. :dunno:

Man he's got a sick offer list and pretty much ideal measurables. Would be an awesome pair to go with Bates. Going to be tough to pull him away from LSU but I'm not going to rule anything out with this staff. We need Vic and TKj to get on him!
