So much for Strong being an elite recruiter...didn't even get a chance to hold on to this guy. Hoping we can grab one of him or Evans. Would be a nice late addition to this class.

I think this is more a matter of Bo Davis not being retained rather than Charlie Strong coming in.

Lost an OL to Arkansas that followed Pittman. I think we told a couple overrated LB's to look elsewhere. Can't remember anything outside of that.

Just about everyone that works for 247 predicted Garnett to OU last night (Perroni is the most notable analyst).

New Orleans St. Augustine’s*Courtney Garnett. Ranked a three-star defensive tackle, Garnett has been committed to Texas for a long time but recently tweeted OU is his No. 1 school. Montgomery built up the bond with Garnett a long time ago, and he will be visiting OU this month.*Tennessee*is also firmly in the mix. OU sees him at defensive end.

Something isn't adding up with the offers this guy has and his ranking. He's a 5.5 by Rivals and an 85 by 247? Nobody rated that low has legit offers from schools like Texas, Oklahoma, USC and Tennessee. Strange. I noticed the article said he was a 4-star. Who is he rated a 4-star by?
