'14 JUCO WR Lavon Pearson (UT SIGNEE 12/18/13)

Kid has that hunched over, tall lean lanky stride with deceiving speed a bit like justin hunter. What he does after the ball is impressive. He reminds a bit of cordarrelle with his moves. His route running, blocking, and toughness are reminiscent of da'rick, as well ability to get open. It's extremely impressive that he has that type of body control to meet the ball at point of contact...even on balls thrown behind him. If I were to be picky id say his biggest weakness is lack of speed, not sure he's a 4.3 guy. But then again we don't need him to be with those hops! We need a tough possession type, guy.

In a nutshell we replaced all three guys with lavon. Great get, butch gets it

There is no lack of speed or burst coach.nor is this kid a possession WR. We have a couple of them. This kid is a playmaking vertical threat.

Really excited about this guy and our future receiving corps. Butch will be flooding the field with top tier receivers soon.

but we are at 26 now which leaves 4 spots and when you count the Berry Bros that 2 spots. I dont believe all that grey shirt stuff for Dews/Paulk/Mosley.

For Dews and Moseley, I don't either. With the time it will take Paulk to recover from ACL surgery, I can now see him taking a grey. I believe he will come through just fine, but it will take at least a year to rehab.

And even though their father and brother played for Tennessee, I am starting to worry about the Berry brothers.

Nevertheless, it is great to get Lavon Pearson on board. I believe he will make an immediate impact.

Who cares about his speed look at Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald or my cousin Jarrett Boykin they make catching the ball look easy.
