Don't get me wrong, I like Quinn and think he has a lot of potential but helm has me more excited about a tight end then I've ever been for that position. I honestly believe he may end up being the recruit that has the biggest impact out of this class. I'm thinking Tyler eifert ( spelling?) type player. We've all seen what he did at the opening And other camps and a big time te is such a potent weapon that we've under utilized the last few seasons. Butch have shown they can develop some great talent at the position and love to use it a ton so I think he will be amazing here. Sorry for the rant lol

Helm wasn't at The Opening but he should have been invited. No idea why he is not a 4 star on 247. That kid is a big time player I agree.

Which camps did he burn adoree and tabor? I thought he matched up with Jackson at the opening?

Agree I just figured he wouldn't be starting next year.

The whole point of my post is that we've now got like 7 weapons that are 6'2-6'4" and can run.

Nobody has the DBs to cover any 5 of those guys at one time. The DCs would be jumping out of the booth if we send a basketball team out at the skill positions.

This. I think Woody will be good, and even could be a 2 year starter while Helm is getting here and learning for a year (as woody is a 2 to play 2 JUCO transfer) but Helm is my favorite TE from the '14 class. Not just because he's a Vol either.

If he wants in we let him in. Nothing changes with Malone or Booth IMO. If anything this almost assures me Dews will have to greyshirt or look elsewhere. JMO though

Makes sense. That will be a lot of WRs this class if it plays out that way

Yup. Like OCI was saying earlier it looks like we're loading up on WRs, but I expect 3-7 from every class. We want 15 or so scholarship guys, so that's an average of close to 4 per class. The upper range (of my 3-7) could be a year to stock up on JUCOs as well. I see this as one if those years.
