'14 JUCO WR Eric Lauderdale (previous UT commit)

I think Tennessee definitely is still in it for Lauderdale. He really wants to get back to the Southeast, based on everything I've heard, so it might be mostly a UT-Florida battle despite his offers from a few West Coast schools.

"I have a top five and Nebraska is in that five," Lauderdale said. "I am planning on taking visits to*Oregon*and*Arizona State. I might still go to*Tennessee*and I have already been to*Florida."

So were in his top 5, but are we really even pursuing him since we got Malone?

The kid is still a baller. I wouldn't say no if he wanted to come back.

Have no clue how the staff is adding more to this class. With it looking like they would add a top RB or another DL/OL guy if they can, taking a kid with Lauderdales talent IF they could not fill those spots would make sense. I think he has soured on UT though and will end up out west. OR, Wash, or usc(he did mention on twitter he was curious if usc would offer now with Sark there).

I agree if we end up striking out in the too guys on the coaches board I would take him back with open arms. That said I highly doubt he would come here at this point with who we have coming in and on the roster already, especially with him being a juco. He can stretch the field and looks like he could be a handful in quick hitters (slants, screens, etc.). If I were him I think I would go to Oregon or another west coast type of offense, seems like a perfect fit for his game.

Yeah, I have not close as to how CBJ will take all these commits that we have plus take a few more but if he can do then I am all for it. With that said, I think there is a very slim chance he would come back but some act like he's not a take because of who we have. I don't think that's the case.

Pretty sure that LWS said right before Malone's commitment that the staff would still take Lauderdale. Just not sure how interested he is in us anymore.

That would be a hell of a group of WR's, but it is going to be anyway, especially if we hang onto Williams next year.

Yes Larry posted that
