Williams is a sensational talent but it'll be very difficult to pry him away from an SEC West school.

Williams, 6 feet 3, 195 pounds, was one of the state's most dynamic players the past two seasons. He averaged 27.0 yards on 44 receptions for 1,186 yards and 20 touchdowns in 11 games as a senior. He rushed 40 times for 307 yards and five touchdowns.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College wide receiver D'haquille Williams has a lot of interest in Alabama. Williams plans to set up a visit to the Capstone in the near future. He will graduate in December. LSU, Texas A&M, Auburn, Florida and Oklahoma State are the other schools he'll consider.

He will likely enter the season as the nation's top-ranked Junior College prospect.

D'haquille Williams Update - YouTube in this video he says if LSU offered that's the only place he wants to go. He stresses family as a big part of his mindset.

Edit: I also found this quote on 247

“I feel like that’s where everybody wants me to go because I come from Louisiana but that’s really not my decision right now,” he said. “I’m liable to go anywhere. Whatever school I go visit and I feel comfortable on that campus and I like the environment and coaching staff and the education, that’s where I’m going.
“I plan on committing this summer. A good education, that’s what I’m really looking for.”
Williams is scheduled to graduate MGCCC in December and enroll at the school of his choice in January. He had a huge freshman season with 67 receptions for 1,295 yards and 17 touchdowns in 11 games.

Doesn't look like it's in the cards, but with CBJ never know, he might just pull something out of his....
pocket.

LSU's class is going to be ridiculous.

LSU has been babysitting this kid since 2011. They helped place him at GCCC and when he was kicked out two weeks later for fighting LSU found him a prep school in Texas. Now he is at MGCCC, but the word is grades are still a major issue with this kid and some think he may go to the draft next spring because he may not qualify for college. This fall will be his 3rd season out of HS so he is eligible for the draft. I have seen comparisons to CP with his ability. If he can qualify and goes to college LSU will be the team to beat.

Thanks for the info! They're already going to have a sick WR class.

The absurd is strong in this post.... not to say it is untrue though.

You're acting like Miles is not a good coach, which is wrong. I hate LSU but there is no denying Miles talent as a coach.

Hey we all have our opinions here which is great, but I really believe Les Miles is a sup-par coach. He tends to lose big games, and if it weren't for Chevis he'd really be in trouble. Their offense the last few years has been horrible. How many three in outs did they have against Clemson their last game? I think it was something like 8 or 9 in a row. That can't happen in big games.

I certainly wouldn't put him on a list of coaches who were great at developing qb's, or running an offense in general. With all their great defenses a mediocre offense could have put them in a few more title games.
