Being from South Bend and now in Texas I am thinking he is not a lock to stay in state. Sounds like OSU has a real shot and probably ND too.

But I am sure he will love his trip to Knox. No place like Knox on a football Saturday.

Im really not..Staying in Teaxs is not something I just have to do.. I have strong intrest in only two maybe one Teaxs school.. Well Big name Texas schools..
Yeah..This is for everybody..
Why would Knox be a good fit for me??:wavey:

It may or may not be the fit for you. But I will say this.....

Just about anybody on this site would give anything to have an opportunity to strap up in that beautiful orange and white, run out of the tunnel at Neyland Staduim in front of 102,000 screaming fans, and sprint over those checkerboard endzones into the Pride of the Southland Band's power T formation on a Saturday afternoon in Knoxville.

Man it gives me chills.:rock:

I'll tell you this, you can't go wrong with Tennessee. Our entire culture pretty much revolves around Tennessee football. We have had many great WRs at Tennessee play in the NFL. It is a great place to play football!

Enjoy your recruitment, pray about it, and make the choice when the timing is right and when you feel 100% right about it. Good luck!

the fans are great i live in nashville and when theres a game everyone we know come to watch and cheer on good ol rocky top

Knoxville is a different kind of place. Football is in the air there. It's everywhere you look. The entire town supports UT and the media is saturated with UT info.

Plenty to do there. You'll never be bored in Knoxville. But it isn't so big that you have to worry about where you go, who you talk to. One thing you'll notice quickly from everyone not from the area I've talked to, is just how nice everyone is. People take the time to ask you about your day, how you are when they don't even know you. Commonplace for us living in Tennessee, but surprising to some not from here. It really is a special place.

The fans -- well, when people tell you football is different in the SEC, they aren't lying. It becomes quickly apparent. You won't have more people with love for you anywhere in the country like you will here in Knoxville. You're a Vol -- and family, for the rest of your life.

And seriously Meel, don't pay attention to these guys from other schools talking junk about Kiffin. He may say some stuff in the media, but he runs a tight ship behind the scenes that you don't ever hear about. UT's team GPA went up for the first time in like 5 years this past semester. He has gotten rid of all of Fulmer's loose baggage and sent them to the house. He started really recruiting in January and still landed a top 10 class and the #1 player in the nation by March. You never hear the good stuff about him. He doesn't care what the media or Urban Meyer or Steve Spurrier thinks about him, and that's what pisses them off so bad. Deep down, I believe the people who hate Kiffin know that he is good for college football...

And as far as his staff goes, I would put them up against any other staff in the country, man for man. When he gets his players in here, it's gonna be good especially by the time you would be arriving on campus...

I love his style. We need guys like that that can have fun. An orange and white mohawk would make headlines.

I know your hearing all this stuff but I personally would advise you to expirience it yourself. Come to a game sometime and hang out on the strip, go see the vol walk, feel neyland stadium instead of hearing about it. It's so much better than anyone trying to describe it and they would say the same thing. So if your planning on coming on a visit sometime this fall then come (if you can of course) on gameday.... and Sab, an orange and white mohawk would be amazing haha.

Keep the mohawk so we can easily recognize you on the Vol Walk. I can see the kids now with orange mohawks and orange Kameel Jackson jerseys singing Rockytop.

One thing that Lane and Monte both pointed out about Knoxville is that we are the only place they have been that has a talk radio station that talks college sports 24/7. That takes a lot of fan love to keep a radio staion going with that format.

hope to see you in a vols uniform real soon. I can hear the PA at the stadium now "The Real Deal - Kameel Jackson " :rock:
