"I got an official offer in the mail from Florida State three days ago," Shine said. "I have verbal offers from Tennessee and Mississippi. I got them after our first game." "My position coach left for the NFL and they wanted to move me to defensive line," Shine said. "I felt like it was the best decision at the time."
Shine graduated from Chaparral High School (AZ) in 2012 and redshirted at Alabama last season. He says he could leave in December if everything works out with his recruiting.
"I can leave in December or May," Shine said. "I plan to visit Florida State, Tennessee and Mississippi during the fall."
In addition, Shine says he has received attention from Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Florida, Miami, USC and Alabama. He says he would like to get back to the SEC, if possible.
"It is up in the air right now, but I would like to get back to the SEC," Shine said. "We play Snow this week and everyone is saying there will be a lot of schools out there to watch us play."
