We are lucky that they are playing in the Cship game this weekend. We just need to make it till the 18th. I expect Butch will do whatever he can here. I think RGarner fed some bad info here. It's going to be a fight.

Auburn writers are notorious for telling fish tales when it comes to recruiting. I think when CBJ has his in home with Lambert next week we will get the confirmation that he is all in to get this ship righted and join this insane class being put together.

"Lambert has continued to tell us that he's solid to Tennessee. Obviously that hasn't stopped Auburn from recruiting him but right now he's given us no reason to believe he plans on switching and in his conversations with Austin he's been pretty adamant he's a Vol, much like his tweets.

Tennessee was scheduled to see him today so hopefully we can catch up with him tomorrow for a full update."

a source indicated to our auburn site that lambert had flipped to auburn. It sounds like that hasn't happened yet, obviously, based on lambert's tweet and his text to 247sports' kipp adams. The source who talked with our auburn site might have jumped the gun on suggesting lambert has flipped, but i would say, based on the source even passing that along with auburn undercover, there's clearly some interest from lambert.

1) No one threw any feces against the wall. The person who gave AUC the info is very much tuned in with Lambert.

2) Lambert was woken up to the report (as was I), but his text to me "Thank you and your ok man you know your my favorite guy man and thank you" leads me to believe he is not too upset

3) We deal with people "close" to prospects ALL the time. Otherwise we would just drop recruit quotes on every site and not give any additional info.

We will all just have to see what happens.

CSS visited with Lambert yesterday, and CBJ has an in-home visit next week with Lambert, per 247. The way some of the national guys and Auburn guys are talking on 247, it seems like Lambert may indeed flip to Auburn, or they are just covering a colleague for now.

At any rate, Lambert has told all sources he's still publicly committed to UT, and the VQ guys don't seem concerned. The GV247 guys haven't really taken a side.

This should reassure those that were concerned about Auburn making a push. Just because said school makes a push doesn't mean that the player will change his mind. Lambert is all Vol!

edit: This was before I read a few posts down but my opinion still is the same.

I'll worry on this one until the ink is dry.

Hopefully he signs on the 18th or whatever day it is. If he doesn't it can't be good news IMO.
