'14 JUCO DT Davonte Lambert (Auburn Commit 12/18/13)

Getting Lambert would be huge for this class. Him, with Mosley, Barnett, and Hendrix would just be phenomenal.

Well you sure changed your tune quickly. A few days ago all I saw you posting was how our coaches were failing with this class since we didn't have a bunch of commits on the D line. How wrong they were for telling some guys we were full. And that you didn't believe the talks of us having some silents on the D line. Maybe you had just had a bad day...?

Guys this is getting comical about getting D-line recruits. Hey we have Butch Jones as coach and it is up to him about who we get in here. We are going to have to be patient and as far as certain people thinking that we have screwed up or we didn't get in on a kid, we have no clue what goes on when the coaches get to talk to kids or what vibes they feel or how a certain kid fits our new system. We have GOT to get behind our coach support him any way we can and try to help him when we can (not bashing him on an internet board that other recruits do read).

If you need a recap, I said it might not bode well for the staff to decline the potential commits of Humphrey and/or Williams in hopes of landing a bigger fish . Now if we land Lambert , then great . If not , and we lose out on Barnett to Vandy , which is possible but not likely , we are not sitting well . You will not win in the SEC without an athletic DL . What's so hard to conceptualize about that.

What you don't know could fill Neyland with sand through the hourglass. So too are the days of babyavi.*

It's weird, VQ makes me feel good about this, but we have 0 analysts from TOS giving us any crystal ball predictions. It's like someone is getting, or giving mixed signals.

And when everyone is saying someone besides us, and just us saying that he's picking us, makes me think we're blinded by homerism

The crystal ball predictions are about the most useless thing on any board. How much of a prediction is it when you can change your guess as many times as you want at anytime you want...

True, but they are right more often than wrong. And we have 0 predictions to us

Oh Yeah? Well what about all the predictions for Chris Williams saying Ole Miss, when a lot of people on this very board said the Vols had the lead? How did that work out? Oh wait...

Very true but he prob would be a Vol if the staff wanted him. I trust them but damn if we miss on a few guys were in trouble.

It would be nice to hear a practice report where someone says that O'Brien is looking like a monster out there. It would alleviate some stress going into the future.
