I don't.

Isn't Hubbs saying "I feel good about where Tennessee is" code for "Vol lock"?

JMO, I think that quote is more code for "Don't be so quick to write UT off yet. UT has some momentum. We're gonna try and talk to him soon and should have a story out in the next few days."

not quite. He is just short of saying that tho. Which him saying this tells you that he is hearing strong good vibes. When he says "i like where UT is" that means that he usually has confirmation with the kid

I understood that Hubbs was saying he does NOT know where UT stands with Lambert right now. I was just trying to confirm my impression that when Hubbs DOES "feel good" about where UT is with a recruit, that phrase is code for "commit."

Oh my bad. Yeah usually that's what it means.

The ole "UT has positioned itself very nicely with...."

"I like where UT is with..."

I was getting a Barn vibe until Hubbs' last comment. One can hope. Getting a top JUCO DL would really help UT after this season.

And, on cue, all the people are switching their Crystal Ball predictions.

None to UT yet.

Is Florida's DL situation better for him than ours? I keep hearing a lot of analysts say that. What gives?

Something about them having no upper classmen after this year, so a Juco can step right in and compete

Other than Dante Fowler, Darious Cummings, Leon Orr, Jonathan Bullard, Dominique Easley, and Dakota Wilson, they will have NO returning upperclassmen defensive linemen. Whatever will they do?!?

BTW, UT’s upperclassmen next year are Jordan Williams, Trevarris Saulsberry, Greg Clark, and Alan Carson. And only Clark and Williams will be Seniors.

Like I said a long time ago in this very thread...UT is a no-brainer choice for JUCO DL.

UF's DL depth chart looks roughly like this:

DT- Easley, Orr, Damien Jacobs, Darius Cummings, Jaynard Bostwick, Caleb Brantley
DT/DE- Bryan Cox Jr, Joey Ivie, Antonio Riles
DE- Jonathan Bullard, Dante Fowler
Buck- Ronald Powell, Fowler, Alex McCallister

I'd see Lambert fitting in at DT/SDE spot...which is where UF's depth is the youngest.

Also, there's a new article on 247 on Lambert. Doesn't provide much info but it did strike me that Muschamp and Butch are personally recruiting him. Rodney Garner is his recruiter at Auburn.

This tells me it's a UF/UT battle.
