I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere but in the VQ article he said he wanted to publically commit on the 13th to honor one of his middle school and high school teammate that passed away.

This further proves that Butch is encouraging recruits to commit publically on a day that means a lot to them. This is genius because when this season is mediocre and the voices from other coaches get lowder, their commitment will always remain special to them.

AKA look for Mosley to definitely announce on his birthday that he mentioned he might do. IMO

How about letting the season play out before calling your shot like the other talking heads that do nothing but regurgitate what each other says.
