This must be the kid who I saw on the sidelines. He was massive compared to everybody he was standing around.

So will Butch say tough shi* kid to current commits and recruit better players over them?
The way I look at it is this...if you are a 5* recruit, you have all the leverage over the school(s) in the process. But if you are a 2-3* recruit, it's the school(s) that have the leverage. You want to play for a major program and those programs often close strong. If you can't get your rating up or impress the coaches more, before the last month or so (before NSD), you are a good candidate to get recruited over.

It's a business. Just like hiring new employees. few positions, lots of applicants.

"Yes, high school players can sign those. Working on some confirmation but it seems the other guys were high school players, not juco players.

Lamin wouldn't have signed one anyways because he still has to discuss things with his mom."

Would be very cool to hear a large part of the 2014 class EE's all decided to sign together. You see on ESPN where this 1 kid signed. That kid signed. ESPN headline, "A dozen Tennessee commitments sign their financial aid agreements".

That would definitely be another positive momentum thing that Butch could do to help the fanbase forget about yesterday and focus on the future. If he actually did that, then it will be very clear...yep, he gets it!

Is this true? Can we get anyone with ties to Cincy to confirm? If so, very interesting. Doesn't much vibe with the family thing he's been selling so far.

Most recruits aren't stupid. There's a few of them that know they'll lose their spot if, for example, Adoree Jackson decides on NSD to be a Vol. CBJ isn't telling him no, and he can't worry about whose toes get stepped on.

Yeah that's kinda weird but business is business I guess.

It's tough to get into the family, but once in it's a tight-knit group.
