He might deserve a second chance. Just not at the same school where the students that were there when he robbed and beat a student still attend. Saban isn't trying to help the guy out by giving him a second chance. He simply doesn't care. Read some articles about how he is by former players at Miami and LSU. He is scum! I think the student involved is still there as well. How would you feel if it was you, your friend, or your family member that was beaten and robbed and they let him come back? It is way more than just looking bad.

My bad. I thought he stole stuff. Not that taking stuff isn't bad. If you beat a person that's another story. I guess I have to agree with you.

No problem. Its all good!

There were a few differing accounts, but it was a group of young men. He was either directly involved in the beating and robbing or was just present. It appears most likely he participated in the beating and definitely participated in the robbing. Really doesn't matter, just as guilty either way.

For the record DJ was only charged with 2 accounts of 2nd. Degree robbery he was accused of assault in the first robbery, but not charged. Saban also stated after the incident that one of the 4 may be able to come back but most believed it would be B Calloway since he was the driver and only charged with using a stolen card.

In regards to Pettway returning it will be up UA not the football team. He was dismissed from UA via judicial review. Apparently this is what he is waiting on is for the JR to allow him back.

My opinion he should not be allowed back. I believe in 2nd chances but he should have it elsewhere.

How in the hell is this not the biggest story of the day??? What the hell is wrong with everyone regarding Nick Saban. The guy is as big of a bastard as you can find in the entire sports world. From over signing players to scolding reporters. Now allowing a player to return that was kicked out for theift, robbery, and assault!!!! What the hell does a guy have to do to be permanently dismissed??? I guess the being removed has more to do with their talent than their crimes. If he was determined to be an average player they weren't concerned about landing on a rival team... Hed never be back. Saban is a weezle and the media should make a mockery of him for this. But they won't
