'14 IN WR Dominique Booth

Technically there is a limit. The EE number is limited by the amount of available open scholarships under the 85 limit.

but i get what youre saying

But if UT only had 50 scholarship players they could have 35 EE's. The limit comes from the 85 rule.

do you guys ever think he saw what happened on the field and just didn't feel like building bricks. honestly after the turd sandwich that jones served up this year i could see it. hell i'm a tennessee fan and have a hard time buying into it.

Hard to make anything but a turd sandwich when the only ingredients you have in front of you are turds and bread.

If you're into believing false info, sure.

Hard to make a steak sandwich with turds.

Due to a lack of understanding of anything football related, and only looking at immediate results and not long term. You have been added to my ignore list.

Perhaps instead he noticed the depth beginning to form at WR, along with the issues of enrolling early. I don't agree that this season was a "turd sandwich".

thats what i was saying. the EE number is limited by the number of available spots under the 85 limit. meaning however many open spots there are (under the 85 limit), is how many you can EE

The few worried about the whole "family" thing don't need to be. From the beginning this recruitment has been a little odd. Looks like the staff has handled this the best way possible. All you can do is be honest and care about the kids and so far they have done this. It may not always be this smooth but the kids and coaches understand the business. Even if a worse situation arises all you can do is be honest, it doesn't help to lie to a kid and keep him if things have changed, even if its late. Of course it shouldn't be done on purpose, and I don't think this staff would. Nobody wants these things to happen.

That so called "turd sandwich" was whipped up at the Dooley Deli by Chef Hamilton. Don't blame the new owner, Butch.

"He could have stayed on as a February signee or possibly a blue shirt depending on numbers so Booth decided he didn't want that option."

Ron, am I correct in believing that a blue shirt is no different in practice than a regular scholarship offer? It's just the regular scholarship, but counted towards the next year, right?

No, but I do think you're a troll. Also, all the people that are "sad" because an 18 year old kid won't be your twitter pal anymore need to take a long look at the world we live in and get a life. I'm sure if you ever loose your virginity, you will get your priorities straight.

He wasn't able to be an EE at UT because while there is no EE limit you still have to be under the 85 number. Clearly the staff didn't see Booth as important enough to allow him one of the 14 spots as an EE. That's what has happened here.

Ron do you think this has anything to do with Malone? I mean the timing of this whole thing....

I watched his game on tv and all I could think about was him being atleast 2 years away from making an impact. That rb on their team seemed to be more of an impact player. He was double teamed some but a stud wr should still be able to dominate in that situation.

If we have additional players leave the program, will that free up slots within the 85 limit? Or do they continue to count until the end of spring semester? For example, Posey and Meredith left the team. Do they continue to count? It sure looks like there are kids who could leave or be asked to leave. I would not be surprised to see Peterman leave. Just don't see a future for him as a starter. Maybe Booth's decommitment is because we want both Malone and Lauderdale. Is Lauderdale also an EE?

There is no EE limit

I was just giving you a hard time.

Clearly there is a limit for us this year which was always the context of the conversations

This is going to happen with 1-3 more guys. IMO the staff will attempt to convince those guys to stick with us. They didn't do that here.

Is this the reason weathered isn't a EE??
