Rivals has Daniel as the #1 tight end recruit in the country

Is this for certain? Because I see that the position ranking haven't been added back yet. I assume you just went through the top 250 and saw that he was the 1st tight end listed...?

Yes, Helm is the highest rated TE in the 250. When position rankings come out tomorrow he'll be listed as #1.

Would like to see him at 240 to 250 next fall coming in

I think 240 (250 max) would be an ideal playing weight for him. I don't want him to bulk up too much and lose his speed and athleticism. We've got Wolf to be that in-line blocking TE who can be used as an extra tackle on running plays. As long as Helm is serviceable (good but not great) in the blocking department then I'll be a happy camper.

I believe they will be used like the pair of TEs that the Titans had last year--Cook and Stevens. With Helm obviously being the Cook type--a big time threat in the passing game who can stretch the field and be a mismatch in the redzone. With Wolf being the great blocking TE who can also get out and be a reliable receiver in the short to mid-range.

I'm really excited about these guys, I think they may just be the best position group that we have coming in at this point (RBs and WRs are very good as well). They will compliment one another very well and they've got the potential to be an an excellent duo for this team.

Maybe some of you should look over the our recent signees from '13 to potentially '14 and '15. If Tennessee adds Josh Malone and Preston Williams, show me a better collectionon paper over a three year period? Also notice I used the term "maybe."

Stallworth, Washington, and Witten were hell. Fulmer not winning a natty that year was BS.

89 group..'..Thomas Woods, Anthony Morgan, Alvin Harper,Carl Pickens,Terrance Cleveland, Von Reeves..

Nash, Kent, Price, and Copeland were good too. And they had Manning unloading to them. Man we've had some good groups. Kids like Malone and Helm would have a lot of tradition to live up to.

Ready excited to get this kid on campus. He is gonna run circles around linebackers in a couple years.

"Helm finished with four catches for 67 yards and two touchdowns as Glenwood defeated Taylorville 34-0. Next up is Jacksonville High School."

Really really really hope he sticks. Just seems like we don't really hear a whole lot about him tweeting and such with other recruits and visiting campus a lot. Ethan Wolf is a lot more involved. Maybe he is just more low key

From every interview he had ever done, he is just care free and relaxed. I think it's the latter and he sticks

Well he went into why he didn't have much time to OV. Being 8hrs away and having practice from 8 to noon on Saturday would make it hard to come watch a game. I think he will OV after their season is over.

Good news. Thanks fellas.

Maybe my Dooley-boosted insecurity needed a little reassurance.
