This could be huge for us! The chemistry and bond that the majority of our commits have is special and unique. And could really push us closer to LSU. For a long time now we have been #2 behind LSU and he never visited us. Now that he's visited and barely lost to UGA, and if he builds a bond with these guys could really help. He has said he wants to be a part of special class. What better class and place than UT.
Looking at this guys twitter you can't help but think we've given him something to think about....Wiltfong on TOS said he was impressed (parents with him) and was hanging out with the LB's after the game. I'm not downgrading any LB we have in our class--they are all ballers but Garrett is a down hill mauler in an Al Wilson type of mold. He'd compliment Bates and the boys well....we can't lose in this situation even if he does lean to LSU. We've got excellent players at his position but adding him would be icing on the cake.
LSU the leader for the five-star OLB from the Chicago area, but as I've reported several times in the past, the Vols are running No. 2 with a chance to move up. He likes the UT staff and sees the great recruiting class. This weekend he's learning about the passion from the fan base. He looks forward to seeing more of the school and getting to know the folks in the program.
