Booooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmm!:clapping:
:shades::shades:

Sorry for the late, late, late boomage... had a busy day of church, and the circus with the kids...

Haha yeah, I think Jayson Swain started it on Twitter back in the spring. Pretty funny stuff.
Nah it has been around for a while. Has to do with his speed and his aspirations in "Astro"nautical engineering. It was his nickname on his junior highlights which were out when we hadn't shown interest and he was committed to ASU IIRC

Oh, maybe so. You probably know more about it than I do. That's just the first place I remember seeing it, IIRC.

Sorry I'm late. Can't believe nobody's used this one yet:

And one from me (even as bad as it hurts to see, I was a HUGE Randy Couture fan) :

I can easily see him sliding inside on obvious passing situations. Him and Lambert in the middle with Vereen and Henderson coming off the edge. I pity the QB.

This. It is going to be ugly for some QBs. I can envision games with double digit sacks and whole wards of QBs carted off the field.

Finished the regular season with 57 tackles and 8 sacks, leading the team in both categories. In comparison, no one else had more than 3 sacks on the team.

O'Fallon finished the season 5-4 and despite playing in a conference consisting of 7A teams, will make the playoffs as a 8A team due to the size of the school. Will play at Naperville Neuqua Valley who finished the season 8-1.

Not bad.

Dewayne should be a stud for us, but he has a long way to go. His measurables are 5-star worthy but his production isn't quite there. Part of it is the constant double teams and frequent running away from his side that a poster on here who coached against him stated. He could also benefit from learning to use his hands better and getting better pad leverage. Very common among these big lineman on both sides of the ball in high school who dominate on size alone.

There's a reason we had to fight off the big dogs to get this kid.

Put someone like this that fits the mold of an elite DE in every possible way under the tutelage of Stripling then just sit back and enjoy.

He is going to be hell on opposing QBs

Thank you for choosing to bring your talents to the Big Orange and aiding in the ressurection of Tennessee Football! Welcome Dwayne! :hi:

I officially believe in silents, I know we all assumed he would end up a Vol. But looking back, after every bad loss we've had someone commit, I fully believe some of these kids were silent and Butch jones used his PR genious to have them make it official at tough times to keep positive momentum going. I'm so excited about our future. I just hope butch can start landing high 5*s. I know he's good evaluator of talent. With 3* guys like vereen and cam sutton. But we still need elite guys to help our rise.
So two of our top players, both of which are true freshmen, were only 3*s?:shades:

Wow, I didn't realize that.
Scouting report per Josh Heimoldt

"He is really the mold of what you want with an elite defensive end. He's a quick twitch athlete with the length to rush the passer, but he also is a stout run defender. He is an every down defensive end. And he is a guy who is playing at a high level right now, but will only continue to get better. There's not really anything there that is missing. He's got the whole package. He brings everything you want in an elite defensive end to the table.

"I have no concerns with him being able to stay on the outside in the SEC. He definitely has the athleticism and has the first step to be able to be an effective pass rusher off the edge while having the strength to hold the edge and stop the run from that position. It's not that that he can't move inside, but I think you maximize his potential in a 5 or a 7 technique."
Double boom!!
