"He went crazy," Hendrix said of Jones' reaction. "It feels great to have the decision done. It's the best feeling."

"I knew from the first moment I walked on campus back in the spring that Tennessee is where I belonged," Hendrix said. "It's a feeling I had never had. I wanted to see if my mom had that same feeling so we went down for the orange and white game. She loved it there, but we wanted to be sure which is why we visited some other places. I never had that same feeling anywhere else. There was really no comparison to Tennessee with the other places I visited."

"I don't know man. It's so hard to put into words," Hendrix said. "Every time I went there, it felt like I was going home."

"My relationship with coach Stripling is great," Hendrix said. "He's so down to earth. I can talk to him about anything at any time. I love his open door policy that he and his players talk about and I already have that with him. We talk probably three times a week. He's great. Of all the other schools that recruited me, I didn't have a relationship with anyone the way I do with coach Stripling."

"Like I said, it feels like home and it's great to be a Vol," Hendrix offered.
