I miss the days when we had the anticipation of seeing whether all the diamonds in the rough we were recruiting would turn into good players. With all the 4/5 stars we're in on, there's no mystery... no excitement.

I don't miss it. And I hope it never comes back.

“Tennessee is really just starting to get into the process right now,” Westphal told InsideTennessee.com. “I am getting to know Coach Stripling, he is my main recruiter right now. I know Tennessee has great facilities and my favorite player,*Eric Berry, went there too.”

“I have never been to Tennessee, but I plan to get there soon,” he said. “I know they play in a great conference and they traditionally put out a lot of good defensive backs so that is appealing. Then I know, like Michigan, they have a very big stadium, like 100,000 plus. Playing in front of that many fans is big.”

“The biggest factors for me will be academics and coaching stability,” he said. “I just want to feel comfortable with the staff at a school. That is really important. That and knowing I can succeed in the classroom.”
