The OSU recruiting writer for 247 (Bill Kurelic) posted that he did his HW tonight, and is now predicting Kitt to Clemson FWIW.

I'm sorry, but there a lot of stupid people in the Tennessee fan base. You all are your own worst enemy and do not help the program. You kill any the positive energy around the Knoxville. The media there feeds off that too!

I lived in Knoxville for almost six years and saw the best and worst of it while I was in school and working in the AD. It looks even worse now on the outside-looking-in. Butch Jones has done an excellent job at bringing positive energy back, but he's fighting an uphill battle and the people causing it are too stupid to realize what they're doing.

Absolutely. Long time till June 10th, but I think Deshaun Watson reaffirming his commitment today was likely the deciding factor.

How quickly our recruiting class is becoming so good, it's becoming more of "jump on board or else you are going to get left behind."

Without giving away too much, Demarre does have a small connection to UT. His mother is on a tennis club with the sister of a Tennessee professor who is very popular among students in Demarre's major of interest. He refers to this professors sister as "Aunt" although they are not blood related. This professor at UT has a history in the NFL and is a part of most recruits visit to UT. From what I know this professor is the real deal and was one of the main selling points to Tobias Harris signing with UT. I really shouldn't even be posting this information as I'm not sure if my knowledge of this matter would get this professor in trouble. It honestly probably won't impact his decision much at all but I figured it couldn't hurt to have a connection in the program and more importantly a connection in his desired major if he were to attend UT.
