'14 GA WR Demarre Kitt

There's a good chance we have another losing season. I think recruits are aware of our current depth issues, though.

If we do indeed have another losing season, then we shouldn't be surprised by a few decommitments by NSD. I think we will be fine with a 6-6/7-6 run.

Incorrect.

Austin Peay, Western Kentucky, South Alabama, Auburn, Missouri, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky.

That's seven games the Vols will be favored in. By saying there's a good chance we have another losing season, you're saying there's a good chance we lose two of the games above. Two.

Is there a chance? Certainly. But it's not a "good chance".

Auburn and Vandy aren't gimmies. Especially Auburn.

I'll disagree with that. Purely opinion, but Vandy only beat 2 teams with a winning record last year (Ole Miss / NC State). They dropped Ohio State and Northwestern (who beat Vandy last year) from this year's schedule to pickup Austin Peay and UAB instead. Looking at their schedule, I would say they did so to make it to 6-6 and be bowl eligible.

The Tennessee win last year, may not have been a fluke, but it was certainly way worse than it should have been. With the game being at Tennessee, and we are switching back to the 4-3 defense, and we have the defensive personnel better suited for a 4-3, I don't see Vandy coming close to beating UT this year.

Like I said, just my opinion, but I think we should win 6, could win 7, and may even surprise a few teams to pull off 8 or 9 wins... I'll guess 7 wins prior to Bowl game and hope I am way wrong and we end up with 9

I'm with you on this. I see Auburn being good soon rather than later. Plus they've always been a pain in our ass.

But I do think 8 wins (including a bowl) are possible. But that's JMO.

I think we could win eight games. I just think too many people have outrageous expectations about a product we haven't seen, led by a new staff, QB, WR corps, new defensive scheme, and a thin defense. Current off the field success doesn't make us any better until next year. I think we will see a better, more competetive product, but I really don't think we are better than 7-6.

Impossible to say on a couple of those. If the season started tomorrow, Auburn and Vandy would be favored over us imo.

Potentiall Mizzou as well... Not sure everyone is realizing exactly HOW much offense we lost. People crack on Bray and Hunter, and I can tell ya'll, those guys will be appreciated more when we get into this season.

I think the reason people crack on them is because they weren't all that clutch in big situations for us. Not to say we won't miss them, but they were pretty boom or bust at times -- usually against our big opponents.

Personally, I think a guy many don't realize we'll miss a lot is ZR. He didn't have the big play potential of some of our other WRs, but he was dependable and often had those clutch, chain-moving, plays we missed at times from our other receivers.

Mizzou and Vandy have far less talent. Auburn is close and they're also replacing an entire staff, plus its in Knoxville. We should be favored in all 3.

The thing is they were able to beat the mtsu's and uab's of the world but not any sec team practically. So I'd still assume we could match their wins without matching their stat totals. Out with the old and in with the new. If we just had a seasoned qb I'd feel a lot better, but Worley has played some good teams so there is hope

I won't miss Hunter. I know I'm in the minority. But I'm not a fan of players who smile when they drop clutch 3rd down catches. I wanted Dooley to grab him by his face mask so badly at SC when he dropped a HUGE 3rd down ball. He did it right in front of Dooley then stood there and smiled like he was cool. In fact, I can't think of a big game last year where he didn't drop atleast one clutch pass...then stand there and smile. And don't get me started on the dropped TD against Bama where he fell on his face...then got up smiling. That would have made it 23-17.

I was a fan of his until this past year. I don't like the smiley attitude after messing up. What would Saban do if he pulled that. And no, I don't think his 1,000 yds will be easily replaced. But his lack of leadership can be. This program needs/has needed leaders for sometime.

This class is nearly a top 10 lock. The team won't tank bad enough to change that.

The team could win enough to vault us even higher, though.

Being able to sign 31 will help boost the class too. With our lack of depth the past few years this class is gonna be the program changer we've needed.
