'14 GA RB Treyvon Paulk (UT Signee 2/5/14)

I think Paulk will be a very good runner, but I think I am most excited about his ability to catch the ball. I think he will be friggin pinball when he catches the ball in screens and angle routes.

Him saying he models his game after Ray Rice makes me even more excited

I'm really excited about Paulk, probably more than Hurd. I love backs this size and really like his running style.

I watched the Ark vs. USCe game the other day where McFadden ran for over 323 yards. McFadden and Felix Jones were a great RB combo. I could see Hurd and Paulk being a lot like this combo. McFadden is a tall RB like Hurd and Paulk seems to fit the build of Felix Jones. I can't wait to see these two in orange.

In the AP game last week, did you notice that Lane and Neal were in together on a two-back set a couple of plays?

With the set that was in would it be considered a triple read option, since that play could have gone to Lane, Neal, or a keeper by Worley?

I don't think so, but I am not an expert in play calling. I don't think Wirley would have three options there. One back would be a decoy/blocker

Me too. And I am a tall guy myself.

I know it is heresy here but I am still not convinced Hurd's best position is RB. It is difficult not to be worried about how his injury impacts him also. It seems possible if not likely that he will not be ready to play by next spring or perhaps even August.

I would think 6-7 months would be plenty of time to heal from a minor labrum tear. I'm not a doctor though, so could be wrong.

I personally want to see Neal flexed out some. He played WR for us and did it well. I want some to back doubles sets and some motion or sets with Neal as the 3 WR. Would give D-Coordinators fits trying to match personnel up.

I like that. Without subbing on a drive, we could flip between a split backfield or three wide.
