Really feeling like we have finally solved our RB issues with Paulk and Hurd! When there is a play to be made those two are gonna make it!

This line has only been good for one year. The 2011 line was still young and a bit disappointing. The line improved last year as did the rb's. Obviously we don't have an elite rb atm but it's not like our line has been filled with road graders the last few years. Lets see how the rb's do this year with a different system and what should be a very good to great line.

Honestly, the OL was better at pass blocking last year. They need to be more physical in the run game.

Poole had more holes/lanes to run through than you would think....

Excited about having this guy in board. Has lots of potential. He'll gain some muscle weight but I also think his speed will go up. Perfect match with Hurd, and we have a couple other options for a 3rd RB that aren't to shabby either. Great stuff.

Marlin Lane averaged 2 yards per carry more in 2012 on 40% more carries then 2011. The biggest part of the 2011 line were true sophomores. They really grew up last year under Pittman.

That said I would never argue in Poole's favor. If he wasn't running up someone's arse he was tripping over his own shoe laces.

It's a video interview at the Rivals ATL camp with Fortenberry. He talked about his relationship with CRG, how he recruited him at WVU so he's known him for awhile and they get along really well. Raves about Butch and the direction of UT, how he's a fan of splitting carries with Hurd and how that's the way of the SEC now, he feels they compliment each other very well. Says he's talking to some guys trying to get them to become Vols. Sounds like a very good competitor, well spoken young man, who's excited to be a Vol.

I'm really glad this kid chose UT, I think he's going to be a special RB like we're used to.

It’s been crazy since committing. Fans are wild. The relationship with the coaches was a good connection, especially Coach G. TN was already out front for him, but Coach G sealed the deal. Off the field, Coach G is a cool guy.

Coach Jones is passionate. You can hear it when he talks. The man is excited. He wants to win. When I get there, we’re gonna turn the program around.

It is important to have 2 RBs. Hurd being a big guy can pound the ball…I’ll “zip-zip” around.

Wants the class to get even better. We are gonna have an elite class.

What a one two punch Hurd and Paulk are going to be. I love the fact that those who have already committed are now recruiting. I know there is always a chance that we may lose one or two commits but the base that we have now seem like they aren't going anywhere. The great thing about this recruiting class is that we still have time to get some OL, LB's and DL's. And as always there will be more popping up as the staff has the opportunity to evaluate and as the High School football season plays out. It really is great to be a Tennessee VOL!! :rock:

"It seems like every day when I wake up I have three or four tweets from Tennessee fans telling me how excited they are that I am coming to Knoxville. There is just so much love from the fan base all the time. It is really cool."

You guys just won't let go....

Poole rushed for over 1000 yds behind one of the least experienced, least physically developed OL's UT has had in the last 25+ years.

It is pretty tough not to run up the backs of OL's when they're being pushed into the backfield. Notably this "awful" RB put together a better season than anyone has since even as the OL got significantly better. I'd bet Jones would be a lot happier with his RB group if he had Poole in it.

Just let it go.

The film I have seen of Treyvon, not the best quality one, is that his junior tape? I want to see some new tape on him. Love, love and love that he is a Vol. still surprised over it
